Sanctions and compliance screening APIs for AI agents

Sanctions and compliance APIs answer the question an agent should ask before it pays a counterparty or onboards a supplier: is this name, company or wallet on a list it should not deal with. This page keeps Verification, Data, Intelligence and Finance listings that mention sanctions, OFAC, AML or anti-money laundering, KYB, KYC, politically exposed persons, watchlists or denied parties, or whose name says sanctions, OFAC, AML, KYC, KYB or compliance. A screening result is evidence for a decision, not legal advice, and the provider page says which lists it checks. The agent finds the listing for free in the PayAPI Market catalogue, then pays the provider per call over x402 in USDC on Base, Solana or Algorand, with no API key. Settlement-verified means a paid route with an on-chain receipt, and the examples are claimed listings that have one. Unclaimed (bazaar) imports appear afterwards with that label. Listing is free and the provider keeps 100% of each settled call.

99 APIs and 2312 endpoints match this page. 51 are settlement-verified: a paid route with an on-chain receipt.

Questions

Which sanctions lists do these APIs check?

It varies by listing. Many screen the US Treasury OFAC SDN list, and some add UN, EU, UK and other national lists, company registries or wallet risk data. Read the listing description before relying on a result.

Can an agent screen a crypto wallet as well as a name?

Some listings take a wallet address and check it against sanctioned addresses and risk signals. Those also appear on the onchain wallet analytics page. Name screening and wallet screening are separate routes on most listings.

Is a clear result a compliance sign-off?

No. It is one paid lookup against the lists the provider names, on the date of the call. Settlement-verified only means PayAPI Market paid for a real response and linked the on-chain receipt.
