What is on PayAPI Market right now: 86 verified APIs for AI agents

PayAPI Market lists APIs that an AI agent can call and pay for by itself, per request, in USDC on Base. No API key, no account, no subscription.

This is a plain snapshot of the catalogue as of 2026-09-02.

How many APIs are on PayAPI Market?

There are 103 live APIs listed, covering 624 endpoints in total. 86 of them are settlement-verified, meaning we paid for a real call and checked the response.

Of those 86, 77 are from independent providers and 9 are our own first-party APIs, published under PayAPI Market. We count them separately because verifying our own work is not the same as verifying someone else's.

What kinds of APIs are there?

  • Data: 51 APIs
  • Finance: 14 APIs
  • Intelligence: 6 APIs
  • Tools: 19 APIs
  • Verification: 13 APIs

What does it cost?

Prices are per request. Verified APIs run from $0.001 to $10 a call. You pay only for the calls you make.

How does an agent use this?

The catalogue is machine-readable, so an agent can search it directly:

curl "https://payapi.market/agent/search?q=company+data"
curl "https://payapi.market/agent/list"
curl "https://payapi.market/agent/get?id=<slug>"

There is also an MCP endpoint at https://payapi.market/mcp for agents that speak it.

The response gives the base URL, the price and the network for each API. The agent then calls the API, receives an HTTP 402 with a payment challenge, pays it, and retries.

What does verified mean?

It means we sent real money. For each verified API we paid for a call from our own wallet, using an input we chose rather than the provider's advertised example where we could, and checked the response against a public source when one exists.

APIs that are listed but not yet verified are shown as listed, not verified. We do not describe them as verified until we have paid.
